Land and Treaty Acknowledgment

We would like to acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. We pay our respects to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this place and reaffirm our relationship with one another. We recognize the traditional land of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and Métis peoples.
We honor the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who have walked this land in the past, who walk it today, and who will walk it in the future. We acknowledge the shared responsibility we have to respect and care for the land and its resources, and to foster relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
Thank you to the Elders and all who have paved the way for us on this land.
